Lately I’ve found myself urinating quite often, very thirsty, and feeling very nauseated when I have eaten something in a few hours. Could this possibly be symptoms of diabetes?
Diabetes does run in the family and I just found out that two more realitives were diagnosed. They are much older though, I’m only 23. I’m hoping that I am just being paranoid.
What are the symptoms and what can I do to make sure I don’t get them if at all possible?

Get your blood sugar tested for a blood glucose by a doctor or a family member.
The symptoms of constant thirst, frequent urination and blurred vision are often diagnosed as diabetes.
You are not paranoid. You have named some of the symptoms of diabetes. You also get very tired. You should go see a doctor immediately. You can just be a diabetic before and can fix your problem before it does any damage, or before are required to take medication. If you leave it, you’ll be exacerbating the danger.
These symptoms may mean you are diabetic. Please checkup your blood sugar in good clinic.
I do not think anyone will urinate frequently and thirst have diabetes or have a very high risk. And yes it runs in the family, so you have more chance and it is possible that you have, but no need to worry about. There is nothing wrong with a quick and inexpensive test if your blood glucose. So you just go to your doctor and ask for it. I would not recommend self-testing via a meter of the family, because that is not what it is bedoeld.Als for prevention, but just stay healthy: eat healthy, exercise enough and make sure you are not overweight, etc.
Go get checked if there is any doubt at all. Here are a list of symptoms. Some people have no symptoms, and some people have symptoms that are not vermeld.Constant thirst, frequent urination constant hunger unexplained weight gain or loss blurred vision slow healing of wounds, recurrent infection in women, itching penis in men, frequent tingling feeling in arms, hands, feet or legs cramps. Study your diet and get exercise daily. You have a risk factor because it’s in your family. Taking care of yourself now can keep diabetes at bay for a while, but there is no way to actually occur. It does not matter if you are overweight or not. Diabetes causes the weight gain many people in many cases. 51% in type 2 diabetics are over weight and never have a normal diet. Type 1 can be diagnosed from birth until about 30 years old. This is the type that is insulin dependent. Type 2 is usually diagnosed after the age of 30 years and treated with oral med, insulin or both. Some people can control it for many years through diet and exercise, but it usually requires medication in later years. Type 2 more often recently in primary school children in the past few years, and they expect a large increase in the number of people to develop. Certain drugs (sterioids, cortisterioids, some blood pressure medications, certain drugs used in the treatment of cancer, are among some of the drugs) disease that affects the pancreas, and damage to the pancreas can also lead to the development of type or 2 diabetes to contribute. There is no cure for type 1 or type 2 with the exception of pancreas transplantation.
